What is cork?

Cork is the bark of the cork oak tree. It is environmentally friendly and sustainable. During harvesting of the cork material, none of the trees are cut down but allowed to grow new bark over a few years to produce more cork material. They continue to producing cork for an average of 150 years.

What leather is used?

We use 100% synthetic Boabab leather. All our products used are 100% eco-friendly, vegan and cruelty free.

Will the cork last?

Yes. Cork is 100% natural and has been treated with Scotch Gard for long lasting care.

How durable is it?

Cork is the bark of the cork oak tree and is very strong and durable. It has been pre-treated with Scotch Gard to ensure a stronger, long lasting product. Why is the cork so hard? Cork is the same commodity as leather and softens over time. The colour may darken as it gets older and adds to the character of the product.

What happens when it gets wet?

Cork is waterproof and therefore no damage will occur when your bag gets wet. Gently wipe off the wetness with a soft cloth.

How do I clean my cork bag?

You can clean your bag with a soft damp cloth.

How do I care for my cork bag?

Your bag has already been treated with Scotch Gard and can therefore be treated with it again to ensure your product stays beautiful.
